I observed that they do take their shoes off at home, but they’re less sensitive about it compared to the rest of the world. For example, if a cable guy comes, he tends to walk in to my home with his shoes on unless I request him specifically to take them off. Or, when they have a house party or invited some guests over, they let the people come in with their shoes on, even though they take their shoes off in their daily lives.
