Okay but…… Ford wiped “Stanley Pines” from Stan’s mind. But he doesn’t think about himself, he hasn’t focused his life around himself for thirty years. For the past thirty years he’s thought about his family – Ford, Soos, Dipper, Mabel, hell even Waddles. Everyone but himself. He remembers not because it was temporary, but because his mind isn’t filled with himself anymore. All he thinks about is family.
