I believe that if you have an abortion you should not be allowed to have any other children after that. You can’t pick and choose which babies you want and which ones you are going to bring into the world. So if you get pregnant have your baby and raise it or put it up for adoption. If you don’t want your baby then have an abortion, but then YOU DONT DESERVE ANOTHER CHANCE. You lost your chance to have a baby when you threw your baby in the garbage. Every LIFE matters.
61% of people having abortions already have at least one child, and 34% already have two or more.
What about those people? Are you going to come and snatch up some loved and cared for children because their parent knew they wouldn’t be able to support a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th child and made the responsible decision to have an abortion?
What about people who had abortions for health and safety related reasons? “Oh, sorry, it says here you didn’t risk your life to carry an unviable fetus to term and give birth to it. Looks like you’re not worthy of having a family!”
Why should a person who made the decision to have an abortion early on in life, before having any children, be banned from having children in the future? How does “I can’t be pregnant or support a child at this particular point in my life” translate to not being capable or deserving of loving and caring for a child when they are actually able to?
How would we implement a rule like this? Would we just forcibly sterilize everyone during their abortion without their consent? What about people who had abortions before this rule was put into place? Are they off the hook, or do they get rounded up and forcibly sterilized as well?
Having an abortion is not “throwing your baby in the garbage” and it is disgusting to insinuate that it is. There are people in this world who actually do throw their babies into the garbage and these kinds of things can be prevented with education and safe, affordable access to abortion.
Abortion is a safe and legal medical procedure. Why should we punish people for making their own decisions about their own body in a completely legal manner?
This is how you know how much pro-lifers fucking hate pregnant people.
And on your right, a pro lifer who demonstrates pro life is not about life, but rather punishing people who got pregnant.
