uhm black women are told at every fucking turn how ugly our features are and it is very difficult to unlearn that without any example of what self-love looks like as a black woman so you really need to take a step back if you wanna call people “pathetic” for being happy that one of the world’s most renowned performers said she likes her negro nose.

And it’s cool if your parents told you to love your features and your blackness but not everyone’s did so let them get that validation
