Because I just read a post on the difference between bisexuality and pansexuality, and I’m confused??? Like… Bisexual people /don’t/ get attracted to trans men and women, but discriminating against trans men and women by putting them in that category and not calling them real men and women which they actually are is transphobic and discriminatory????? Can someone help me out pls
Someone gave you the wrong definitions! Bisexuality is when you’re attracted to two or more genders. Usually this means men and women (both cis and trans), but many bisexual people are attracted to nonbinary genders too. Pansexuality is when you’re attracted to all genders, which means men and women (cis and trans) and all nonbinary genders.

Yes please link me to that post! But why aren’t bisexual people attracted to genderfluid people and other nb people? Pan and Bi sound like almost the same thing :( I don’t understand
Love, I identify as bisexual and I don’t think I wouldn’t fall in love with someone non-binary, if given the chance (i literally just met one person who’s non-binary in my whole life or at least who claims it). I just use the term bisexuality to define myself because I find it more simple and it’s easier to explain, thus makes me feel more comfortable (where i come from people are remotely aware of bisexuality, 90% of people probs never heard of pansexuality). I might redefine myself in the future if i’m in a relationship with someone who’s non-binary. It’s important to note that I was 14 when I identified as bi and I had no idea about pansexuality.
Personally, I identify as pansexual because it clearly states that I’m attracted to all genders (well, if you know a little greek and/or the definition). Though I do say that I’m bi to some people, especially when I don’t have the time nor the will to explain in depth the different genders and what pan- is.
