This is my cat, Kiki! She’s a little brown tabby who I’ve had for about 9 years now and she’s very dear to me. And she’s very sick!
Last week she became ill and wouldn’t eat her food or drink any water. She vomited everywhere on Thursday and was really weak on Friday. Saturday was when she was at her worst and I was so scared she was going to pass over night. Luckily she improved a bit on Sunday, she took some food and was moving around a bit. Monday she passed a rather large hairball along with diarrhea, I thought that was the end of that! But she didn’t improve at all and refused to eat or drink still. I’ve been assist feeding her water since Sunday and special food since Monday.
I was finally able to take her to the vet clinic today (June 26th) and they gave me the total of all the tests they needed to complete, which was waaayy too much money for me to afford. I’m only able to just barely afford bloodwork, fluids, medicine and daycare at the clinic and that’s just them trying to figure out what’s wrong!
The total I was able to accept was about $650 but with rent and bills coming up, I won’t be able to afford to pay one or two bills or I won’t be able to afford food for two weeks. I’m still recovering from moving to a new area back in April.
