I think I found a new favorite Twitter account.

Actually, they’re against it because someone has to pay for it if the students don’t, which means higher taxes.

Too bad there isn’t an entire section of our society with a lot of money that doesn’t pay their fair share anyway. If only we had a population of people that make such an insane amount of money that if we actually started taxing them and their massive multinational corporations we would solve quite a few of our problems.
Instead of raising taxes on the poorer classes, I wonder what it would be like if we had mega rich people to tax?
Also it really sucks that we don’t have a massively over funded military that we could take funds from. I’m talking a military that is funded and more advanced than the next twenty nations COMBINED and they absolutely do not need the ridiculous amount of money that is thrown at them. Then we could really do some great stuff if we just took that money and put it to something that matters.
Too bad we don’t have a bunch of outdated subsidies for companies that don’t need them. You know, just billions of dollars of tax money we throw at companies for free because of some hundred year old laws that aren’t applicable anymore.
Too bad the wealth of this nation isn’t so fucking stupidly distributed because then if we had common sense we could actually solve our fucking problems instead of making the rich richer and the poor poorer.
Oh wait.

It’s estimated we could feed and house every person in the US for around $40 Billion.  The annual military budget is over $700 Billion.
